UNITY – Andy Brower smacked in the game-winner off a corner kick from Jeremy McCormick in the second overtime period Sunday, lifting Unity College to a 2-1 men’s soccer victory over the University of Maine-Fort Kent.
Kieran Kelly scored the other goal for the 5-1 Rams. Travis Coutlee turned away five saves on nine shots.
Juan Murphy found the back of the net for the 2-2 Bengals. Jim Page faced 15 shots in net, saving seven of them.
Unity 8, Northern Maine Tech 1
At Unity Saturday, Ryan Howes knocked in three goals and Ian Roberts added two, as the Unity College Rams cruised.
Andy Brower, Charles Pitts and Jeremy McCormick added a goal each for the 4-1 Rams. Travis Coutlee faced just four shots, and saved two of them.
Andy Pitisk found the back of the net for the 1-3 Falcons. John Connor saved 10 of 21 shots.
UMF 2, College of St. Joseph 0
At Rutland, Vt., on Sunday, Justin Groshon and Brian Mawhinney booted a goal apiece as the University of Maine-Farmington downed the College of St. Joseph.
Jeff Meinhart aided the cause with an assist. Mike Hauser registered five saves on six shots as the Beavers upped their mark to 2-0.
For the 2-2 Saints, Bryan Fisher turned away six saves on 18 shots.
Notre Dame 4, Thomas 0
At Waterville Saturday, four Notre Dame players netted goals as the Saints of Manchester, N.H., charged by Thomas.
Barry Fitzgerald and Fredrico Admeida each logged a goal and an assist while Coolidge Durham and Jeff Martineau recorded goals. Gary Karabian stopped both shots he faced.
For Thomas, Ryan Conley made 10 saves on 22 shots.
Wesleyan 1, Colby 0
At Waterville Saturday, Nick Vincent scored on a header off a corner kick as the Cardinals improved to 2-0.
Brad Wasik stopped four of seven shots for the winners. Andy Danziger made six saves on 13 shots for the 0-2 White Mules.

At Standish Sunday, Michael Herrick scored the only goal off an assist from Matt Grauwiler as the Monks improved to 3-0.
Nick Wallace and Jeff Yaeger combined on the shutout, stopping six of eight shots.
Lasell 2, Southern Maine 0
At Gorham Saturday, Matt Hutchinson and Steve Rochon scored in the second half to give the 1-2 Lasers the win.
Jarrod VanDerwerken made four saves on 12 shots in getting the shutout.
Jeff Gray made eight save on 14 shots for 0-5 Southern Maine.
UM-Presque Isle 1, UMM 0
At Presque Isle Sunday, Aaron Miller scored on a pass from Jay Johnson at the 18-minute mark of the first half as the Owls tipped the Clippers.
Jon Cole saved five of six shots for 3-1 UMaine-Presque Isle.
For 0-5 UMaine-Machias, Andrew Switt registered nine saves on 12 shots.
UM-Fort Kent 2, UM-Machias 0
At Fort Kent Saturday, Gintaras Linkutis scored to lift the Bengals to victory.
Josh Ray also scored for the 1-1-1 winners. James Page got the shutout in stopping all 12 shots.
Andrew Swift saved six of eight shots for the 2-1 Clippers.
