Artie Cutrone

Colby College’s Artie Cutrone was named the Player of the Week by the Maine Men’s Basketball Coaches and Writers Association. Cutrone averaged 19.3 points, 5.0 assists, 4.3 steals and 3.7 rebounds while shooting 55 percent from the field and 55 percent from 3-point range to earn MVP honors in the Colby Invitational.

Shannon Yates

Gettysburg College junior Shannon Yates of New Vineyard was honored as the ECAC Division III Field Athlete of the Week. Yates won the triple jump (36-0) and high jump (5-0) and placed fourth in the long jump (16-31/2) at the Dickinson Holiday Invitational.
