HIGH SCHOOL

Sarah Bishop

University of Maine freshman goaltender Sarah Bishop was named the Hockey East’s Pure Hockey Co-Defensive Player of the Week. Bishop had 52 saves in a 2-0 loss to St. Lawrence.

Tanna Ross

University of Maine freshman guard Tanna Ross was honored as the America East Rookie of the Week for women’s basketball. Ross scored a career-high 20 points while shooting 7 of 13 from the floor against Massachusetts.

T.J. Kelley

Colby College senior forward T.J. Kelly was named the NESCAC Men’s Ice Hockey Player of the Week. Kelley scored three goals and assisted another in a 1-1 week against Bowdoin.

Stacey Kent

University of Southern Maine junior forward Stacey Kent was named the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Co-Player of the Week and Little East Conference Player of the Week. Kent averaged 21 points in a 2-0 week.

Kaylie DeMillo

University of Southern Maine freshman guard Kaylie DeMillo was honored as the Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Week by both the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association and Little East Conference. DeMillo averaged 8.5 points, 6-0 assists and 2.5 steals per game in a 2-0 week.

Erica Davis

University of Maine at Presque Isle junior Erica Davis was named the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association Co-Player of the Week. Davis averages 21.5 points, 13 rebounds, 4.5 steals and shot 50 percent from the field in a 2-0 week.

Matt Ulrich

University of Southern Maine sophomore Matt Ulrich was honored as the Pilgrim Wrestling League Wrestler of the Week. In the 141-pound class, Ulrich had a two wins and a draw at the quad meet at Plymouth State University.

Nick Phillips

University of Southern Maine freshman Nick Phillips was honored as the Little East Conference Track Athlete of the Week. Phillips had a winning height of 6-7 in the high jump at USM’s Preseason Invitational and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division III Men’s Indoor Track and Field Championships.
