Healey sparks Bapst Crusaders edge Ellsworth in OT

BANGOR – Aaron Healey scored six of his 10 points in overtime to lead the John Bapst boys basketball team to its second straight overtime victory with a 64-61 triumph over Ellsworth at the Bangor Auditorium Tuesday night.

John Bapst beat Old Town Monday night 67-60 in overtime.

Ethan Cushman paced the Crusaders with 24 points and 11 rebounds and Charlie Merritt added 16 points and nine rebounds.

Sam Coombs scored 17 points to lead Ellsworth and Ryan Petros chipped in 11 points.
