ATLANTA – Alexa Kaubris connected for 16 points, including 4-of-5 from 3-point range, to lead the Bowdoin College women’s basketball team to a 67-57 victory over Roanoke College at the Oglethorpe Stormy Petrel Classic Sunday.

Wilmington College beat Bowdoin 73-54 Saturday.

In Sunday’s game, Jill Anelauskas tallied 14 points and 13 rebounds while Colleen Sweeney added 14 points for the Polar Bears.

Erin Hanson led Roanoke College with 20 points and 10 rebounds.

In Saturday’s game, Gina Hyle scored 16 points to lead Wilmington by Bowdoin. Kortney Kin added 12 points for Wilmington.

Maria Noucas led Bowdoin with 12 points. Anelauskas and Kaubris added 10 points apiece for the Polar Bears.
