PRESQUE ISLE – Adam Kingsbury scored a game-high 26 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead Presque Isle to a 62-49 Big East Conference boys basketball victory over previously undefeated Mattanawcook Academy of Lincoln on Saturday.
Russ Mortland added 20 points for the Wildcats.
Derek Libbey led Mattanawcook with 22 points. Brady Vose chipped in with 10 for the Lynx.

At Presque Isle, Chase Huckestein scored the game-winning goal with 4:26 remaining in overtime to lift John Bapst past Presque Isle.
Neil LaFrance and Andrew Casey each scored a goal in the third period. Ethan Sale, Ryan Hayes and Casey Hull each had an assist for John Bapst. Derek Duff made 26 saves on 28 shots for the Crusaders.
Greg Cyr and Parker Hovey each netted a goal for Presque Isle. Josh Buck and Cyr each had an assist. Ethan Hill stopped 24 of 27 shots for the Wildcats.
