Brewer’s Wilson lifts Bates to win Choice leads Colby men by MMA

BIDDEFORD – Brewer’s Chris Wilson scored a game-high 20 points and handed out four assists and Bates shot 61.5 percent from the floor in the second half en route to an 83-66 men’s basketball win Tuesday night over the University of New England.

At Presque Isle, junior forward Erica Davis had 15 points, nine rebounds and six steals, all game-highs, as the University of Maine-Presque Isle avenged a 68-44 loss it suffered Saturday.

Brittany Hunt’s 12 points paced Maine Maritime Academy of Castine. Tatum Welch, Kaitylyn Leeman and Amethyst Cousins had eight apiece, and Welch had five rebounds.
