BANGOR – Elizabeth Hanson scored 17 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and had six steals to lead Highview Christian Academy to a 38-36 schoolgirl basketball victory over Averill Thursday night.
Averill had a chance to tie, but a Highview player swatted the ball into an Averill player and out of bounds to foil the Beavers.
Crystal Babcock had 19 points and Dorothy Leighton added 17 for the Beavers.
