Rams upset Blue Devils

LEWISTON – Senior goaltender Andrew Riley stopped 32 shots to preserve a 3-2 lead late into the third period as the Bangor Rams upended previously undefeated Lewiston 4-2 in high school hockey action at the Colisee Tuesday night.

Christian Dionne and Johnny Warren each had a goal and an assist in the second period for the 7-7 Rams. Nick George scored in the second, and Dave Pardilla added an empty-net goal with two seconds left.

Robbie Leeman scored on a Matt Letourneau assist in the first period for 13-1-1 Lewiston. Jon Roy added a second-period goal off a Devan McLellan assist. Casey Poussard made 29 saves.

At Readfield, Ryan Martin poured in a game-high 28 points and Mike Poulin had 12 points and five steals as the undefeated Black Bears rolled to their 15th win.
