AUGUSTA – Curtis Miller connected for a game-high 23 points as the No. 2 Valley of Bingham Cavaliers defeated the No. 3 Forest Hills of Jackman Tigers 60-44 in a Western Maine Class D quarterfinal Wednesday at the Augusta Civic Center.
Ahead by eight points at the end of the third quarter, the Cavaliers outscored the Tigers 22-14 in the fourth quarter to pull away for the victory.
Trevor Miller chipped in with 13 points for Valley.
Jeffrey Mulhall paced Forest Hills with 18 points while Cody Gilboe added 14.
