Knapp helps Dirigo edge Boothbay in OT

AUGUSTA – Colby Knapp led three players in double figures with 14 points as top-seeded Dirigo of Dixfield ousted No. 4 Boothbay 48-45 in overtime in an Western Maine Class C boys semifinal at the Augusta Civic Center Thursday night.

Thomas Knight netted 12 points and Enrico Ross 11 for the Cougars.

Kris Noonan scored 18 points and Joe Farrin 14 to pace Boothbay.
