BANGOR – A former corrections officer at Mountain View Development Center in Charleston was indicted Monday for trafficking in prison contraband.

Lori Call, 36, of Charleston allegedly smuggled alcohol and marijuana into the juvenile detention center in November and December.

Details about how much of the contraband Call smuggled into the center and how she was providing it to underage inmates was not available Monday.

Call is scheduled to be arraigned on Friday, March 28, in Penobscot County Superior Court.

If convicted, she faces up to five years in prison and a fine of up to $5,000.
