Online registration for the Beach to Beacon 10K road race, set for Aug. 2 in Cape Elizabeth, will kick off on Saturday at 9 a.m. at www.beach2beacon.org.

Online registration will remain open until all 5,550 spots in the field are filled, as no paper registration will be held this year.

Runners are encouraged to sign up as early as possible for the 11th annual race, as 4,700 registered during the first 10 days of registration last year.
