Army Pvt. Leland R. Alger, son of Darlene Hammond and stepson of Edward Vanderlofski of Masardis, has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is a 2007 graduate of the Loring Job Corps Center, Limestone.
