Wild girls wanted for Trump show

The Donald is at it again and Ivanka must be helping him with his latest reality endeavor.

It was reported last summer in the New York Post that Trump was working on a new show, but Reality TV World confirmed on its Web site Wednesday morning that MTV has ordered eight episodes of “Lady or a Tramp.”

Perhaps it’s because Trump didn’t get the star power he wanted (Lindsay, Paris, Britney) to participate in “The Celebrity Apprentice,” or maybe he wants to have a wife in training in case things don’t work out with Melania.

The idea behind “Lady or a Tramp” is to transform wild girls into true ladies by sending them to a boarding school of sorts.

I think he should start by casting some of the contestants from VH1’s “Flavor of Love,” pull a few out of a “Girls Gone Wild” video, and then add Omarosa to the mix just for fun.

Ivanka could teach the women how to dress and speak like successful businesswomen, and then bring in judges from ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars” to show them how to have some proper, high-class fun.

An airdate for the first episode hasn’t been set, but casting has begun, according to Reality TV World.

Coming back to reality, The Man on the Couch and I continue to be disappointed by this season of “American Idol” on FOX.

Judge Paula Abdul keeps saying that she loves this season because contestants have individual personalities and style that set them apart from the rest. While this is true, it doesn’t make them sound any better.

While none of them is horrible, I can’t imagine who’s going to walk away with the title. In seasons past, the performances have become bigger and better each week. This time around, I feel like I’m watching auditions on every episode.

I admire Brooke for starting over this week after her first few notes came out a little off, but I agree she should have left the band out of it. It’s not like their paycheck relies on them playing for her.

All I can say is that I’m glad “The Biggest Loser” is on ABC at the same time so I can flip channels during some of the painful performances.
