Man cited in threats sent by cell phone

A Brewer man allegedly threatened a Bangor woman by using his cell phone and was summoned for his actions.

Bangor police took a report from a 20-year-old Bangor woman who said she was being threatened by text messages from Michael Baker, 32, of Brewer.

Upon investigation, police learned “there were threats in the texts directed at her and other family members,” Bangor police Sgt. Ed Potter said Thursday.

Brewer police assisted in finding Baker, who was charged with terrorizing and harassment.
