How is a “terrorism war” different from a “drug war”?

1. What is the cause of a need or desire for drugs?

2. Without removing this cause, does a war become necessary?

3. What does a drug war consist of in defensive and offensive terms?

4. Has the “drug war” been effective as fought all these long years?

Are the same questions appropriate as we embark on the new “terrorism war”?
