What real issues were debated in the last presidential forum? Global warming? The war in Iraq? The more than 4,000 Americans dead? The economy? Inflation? AIDS? World hunger?
Nope. Come on, guys, give me a break. I don’t give a rat’s derriere about what Barack’s minister says. I don’t give two rats’ derrieres about his neighbor who belonged to that ’60s organization 40 years ago. I want those GIs out of Iraq. Yesterday. I want to know who’s going to feed the hungry and keep them from building IEDs. I want a sane policy on global warming before I’m under water. And I want policies and funding that will keep Maine kids safe, well fed and well educated.
Is that too much to ask? Maybe the wrong people are asking the wrong questions.
