EAST MACHIAS – Derrick Porter rapped a two-run single to cap a five-run sixth inning, leading Washington Academy to a 6-4 high school baseball win over Woodland on Monday.
Mike Lenfestey hit a two-run double in the sixth inning to tie it at 4-4 for the Raiders. Bryce Colbeth doubled for WA.
Ben Sears had two singles and two RBIs for the Dragons, and Scott Boomer added two doubles.

At Eastport, Breanna Beal tossed a no-hitter, allowing one run, three walks and hitting two batters while striking out nine to lead Jonesport-Beals to victory over Shead.

Cassie Barnes scored a run in the first inning for Shead.
