KEENE, N.H. – Ryan Pike hit a home run, double and three singles to lift the University of Southern Maine of Gorham to a 14-3 victory over Eastern Connecticut State University in the Little East Conference baseball tournament Thursday.
The Huskies will play Keene State (30-8) today at 9 a.m.
Pike also drove in two runs, scored three times and stole a base.
Chris Burleson had a double and three singles with two RBIs for Southern Maine. Josh Mackey had a home run and two singles with two RBIs, and Eddie Skeffington homered.
Jim Schult hit a solo home run for Eastern Connecticut. Jon Dalton doubled and singled with an RBI.

Saint Joseph’s sweeps Suffolk
At Standish, Andrew Keirstead allowed two hits and no walks while striking out six through seven inning to lead Saint Joseph’s College to a 2-0 shutout of Suffolk University in the second game. The Monks won the first game 8-1.
In the first game, Wade Oliver homered and singled with two RBIs for Saint Joseph’s. Ben Grant-Roy added a home run and two RBIs. Luke Enman and Dustin Spiller doubled, and Eric LaBatte had two singles.
Paul Vittozzi had two singles and an RBI to lead Suffolk, and Greg DiMarco doubled.
In the second game, Grant-Roy singled twice and drove in a run for the Monks. Oliver had a double and an RBI, and Todd Keneborus doubled, singled and scored a run.
Nick Martinho and Bobby Barrett singled for Suffolk.
