Third suspect arrested in assault in Portland

PORTLAND – New Hampshire police have arrested a third suspect in a vicious assault on a Brunswick Naval Air Station sailor in Portland’s Old Port.

Police say Jacob Davidson, 21, is in custody in New Hampshire charged with aggravated assault in the late-night attack on Petty Officer 3rd Class Odelmo Robinson.

Two other suspects, Christopher Hartt, 22, and Thomas Hartt, 25, both of Manchester, already waived extradition after their arrests in New Hampshire.

The three men are accused of repeatedly punching and kicking Robinson as he lay on the ground unresponsive on May 25. Robinson was in an induced coma for a time, but police say he has since returned to work at the Navy base.
