PTTSFIELD – Kevin Moody scored the winning goal for Maine Central Institute with one minute remaining in the game as the Huskies edged Belfast 2-1 in schoolboy soccer action Tuesday.
Ryan Small had an unassisted goal while Shawn Basford made 12 saves on 22 shots for the 3-10-1 Huskies.
Matt Olsen scored on a direct kick for 3-11 Belfast while Chris Abbott faced 19 shots and stopped eight.

At East Millinocket, Mike Rossignol notched his fourth shutout of the season with 11 saves on 14 shots to help lead host Schenck to the win.
Seth Johnston scored unassisted for the 4-8-2 Wolverines. Tyler Thompson and Eric Watson each scored a goal on assists from Pat Jamo and Chad McLaughlin, respectively.
James Skehan made five saves on 12 shots for the 4-8-2 Shiretowners.

At Newport, the Broncos scored the game’s first three goals and held on to improve to 9-4-1.
Bud Bridges scored twice while Ben Barton and Adam Standley tallied a goal apiece for Hampden Academy. Eric Libby made 13 saves on 16 shots.
Ryan McLellan scored two goals for the 1-12-1 Warriors. Justin Nichols added a goal while David Buzanoski and Justin Veazie had assists. Erik Gardner made 14 saves on 18 shots.

At Charleston, Matt Conley had a hat trick and Ben Sobey scored two goals to lead the visiting Patriots past Highview Christian Academy.
Steve Putnam had a goal and an assist for the Pats while Anthony Cole and Kliton Xhemali each scored a goal. D.J. McCleary and Aaron Wilson combined for 22 saves on 26 shots.
For 4-7 Highview, David Day, Gordon Lovell, and Aaron White teamed up for 24 saves on 34 shots.

At Erskine, Marc McCorrison scored two goals for 9-4-1 Mount View both with assists from Rick Malady.
Hank Mattson scored on a pass from Mark Soisson while Morey Halley had a goal with an assist from Ryan Donovan. Dan Pellerin made four saves on nine shots.
Matt Donar scored both goals for 5-8-1 Erskine while Ben Powell and Craig Maybee had assists. Brandon Pelkey stoped 12 of 24 shtos.

At Searsport, Drew Mercier led 5-7-2 Searsport with two goals and an assist.

David Pike and John Bolduc each scored unassisted for Islesboro while Rory Diffin stopped 25 of 40 shots.

At Danforth, Rhett Mortland scored three goals for the 8-1 Vikings, including the winning goal with two seconds remaining in overtime.

Frank Severance scored two goals for Lee Academy while Dustin Pickering added a goal and Blair Emery and Opie McDonald had assists. Adam Ham stopped eight of 15 shots for the Pandas.

At Bangor, Alex Waring notched her sixth shutout of the season with three saves on six shots and helped lead Bapst to victory.
Julie Crotty scored unassisted and Katy Sturgeon scored on a Nikki Novak assist for the 10-2-2 Crusaders.
Darcy McCormick made 12 saves on 26 shots for the 2-8-3 Ponies.

At Hampden, the Broncos completed their first unbeaten regular season in at least 15 years with a shutout over Nokomis of Newport.
Jani Bosse led the 14-0 Broncs with a goal and an assist. Laura Marden and Tyne Franchi each scored a goal while Kim Stephenson and Katie Lindemann each had assists. Emmy Russell notched a shutout with two saves on three shots and completed a season in which she’s allowed two goals in 900 minutes in goal.
Sara Lowe made six saves on 17 shots for the 6-8-1 Warriors.

At Belfast, Gillian Brundage scored on a corner kick and had an assist, helping lead the 10-3-1 Lions to the win.

At Thorndike, Violet Soisson scored the game-winning goal for 7-5-2 Mount View with 28 minutes remaining in the game with an assist from Anne Mathieson.
Haylee Freeman had an unassisted goal while Sarah Ingraham scored on a pass from Soisson. Danielle Mayer stopped 14 of 18 shots.
Amanda Bartlett and Meg Garrity each scored with assists form Julie Harding while Meghan Lamey made four saves on 12 shots for 8-4-2 Erskine.

Brittany Jago and Heather Holmes notched the other Patriot goals and Kendil Snow stopped both shots she faced.
Alice Anderson made 10 saves on 25 shots for the Mariners.

At Bangor on Monday, Jenn Towne roofed a nine-yarder off a Kristin Bogan cross from the left flank with 11:06 remaining in regulation to supply Bangor with its triumph over the Eagles.
Katherine Miller made five saves for the 9-4-1 Rams, who went 7-1-1 over their last nine games.
Victoria Jones made seven saves for Ellsworth, which concluded its regular season at 7-4-3.

Julia Sleeper stopped nine of 15 shots for 1-12 John Bapst.

At Rockland, Meredith Susi converted a Katie Salisbury pass off a Holly Higgins corner early in the first overtime to give Maine Central Institute of Pittsfield its come-from-behind win.
MCI’s Kerri George had forced the overtime by scoring an unassisted goal with 12 minutes left in regulation. Susi had scored an earlier goal off a similar corner involving Salisbury and Higgins. Amanda Quint made two saves on eight shots for 8-6 MCI, which snapped a three-game losing streak.
Caitlin and Lyndsey Grant scored for 6-8 Rockland and Jessica Sleeper made three saves on nine shots.
