VASSALBORO – Holden’s Earl Black aced the 163-yard 13th hole at Natanis Golf Course on the Tomahawk Course Friday with a 23-degree rescue wood. Scott Dunbar, Alan Brawn and Bill Peters witnessed Black’s first hole-in-one.

George Jacobson of Orono shot a hole-in-one Tuesday at Penobscot Valley Country Club in Orono. Jacobson made the ace on the 151-yard 4th hole using a 7-iron from the blue tee. It was witnessed by Bob Strong, Robert Garster and Bucky Owen.
