ROCKPORT – Jordan Richards scored three touchdowns to lead the Nokomis Warriors to a 42-6 high school football victory over the Camden Hills Windjammers Saturday.
Richards rushed 14 times for 150 yards and scored three touchdowns and rushed for a two-point conversion.
Paul Ketchem added two touchdowns for Nokomis and ran eight times for 57 yards. Derek Amoroso completed 8 of 22 passes for 60 yards, including a 10-yard scoring pass to Jonathan Barrows in the fourth quarter.
Quarterback Collin Downs led Camden Hills by completing 10 of 25 passes for 104 yards. He also rushed one yard for a touchdown in the third.
The Warriors’ Stanley Prophet had seven tackles and two assists and Teddy Smith had a fumble recovery and an interception.

During this busy sports season, the BDN asks that managers and coaches for the home teams promptly report the games. Games can be reported starting at 5 p.m. on Monday through Friday and 3 p.m. on Sundays. Games can not be reported on Saturday.

Coaches and managers are urged to provide details for both teams when reporting games. First names of players on both teams as well as statistics are needed. Those not providing full details for both teams run the risk of the games not being published in the paper.
