GUILFORD – Stacy Prise’s unassisted goal off a breakaway just 33 seconds into overtime gave the Piscataquis Community Pirates a 2-1 schoolgirl soccer victory over the Schenck Wolverines Wednesday.
Cassie Tardiff scored the first goal of the game off an assist by Prise. Julia Shaffer made 13 saves on 15 shots for the 1-0-1 Pirates.
Sam York scored an unassisted goal to tie the game for the 0-3 Wolverines. Leann Toothaker made 11 saves on 17 shots.

Messalonskee 2, Brewer 1
At Oakland, Alison Omsberg scored the tying goal in the second half and assisted on Samantha Gagne’s game-winner with 12 minutes remaining in regulation Messalonskee rallied to win.
Sarah Jacques made five saves for 2-0 Messalonskee.
Katie McLaughlin scored a first-half goal for 0-2 Brewer and Hannah Simmons finished with 19 saves.

Hampden 3, Lawrence 0
At Hampden, Julia Snyder made 13 saves on 15 shots and Chelsea Kuzio recorded a goal and an assist to lead the Broncos past the Bulldogs of Fairfield.
Ashley Robinson and Katie Chambers each chipped in with a goal for the 1-1 winners and Michaela Stephenson notched two assists.
Jess Poulin made eight saves on 11 shots for 1-1 Lawrence.
Searsport 8, Penquis 0
At Milo, Tianna Faunce and Kali Berenyi had hat tricks as Searsport shutout Penquis.
Kayla Garcelon and Shannon Higgins added goals for 1-1 Searsport. Megan Higgins faced 22 shots.
Kristyn Chapman faced 24 shots for 0-1 Penquis.
MDI 4, Hermon 1
At Bar Harbor, Danielle Hutchins had a hat trick with three goals as Mount Desert Island defeated Hermon.
Stephanie van Gorder also scored for the 1-2 Trojans. Chelsea Currin, Brigitte Pratt and Bethany van Gorder provided assists. Elizabeth Sargent made 17 saves on 19 shots.
Lindsey Allen scored an unassisted goal in the second half for 1-1 Hermon. Kayla Treadwell turned away 15 of 26 shots.

Messalonskee 6, Brewer 3
At Oakland, Cameron Omsberg scored four goals to lift Messalonskee over Brewer.
Nathan Snow added two goals for the 2-0 Eagles. Andrew Wilson made 11 saves on 18 shots.
Luke Thomas led 0-2 Brewer with two goals. Ryan Nadeau scored a goal as Brian Kearns stopped 14 of 22 shots.

Penquis 5, Searsport 1
At Searsport, Lucas Grinnell scored a goal and assisted two others as Penquis of Milo defeated Searsport.
Jesse McLaughlin and Ryan Bailey both had a goal and an assist for the 1-1 Patriots. Joe Leland and Alex Drummond added goals. Richie Russell stopped three of six shots.
Evan Kingsbury scored off a Chris Gillo assist in the first half for 0-3 Searsport. Dan Peach made 18 saves on 25 shots.
PVHS 2, Sumner 1
At Howland, Leigh Dolley scored in the first half and Ethan Babineau added a goal in the second to pace the 3-0 Howlers. Jacob Jones had 6 saves on 7 shots in goal for Penobscot Valley.
Anthony Cultrea had an unassisted goal in the first period for the 0-2 Tigers. Josh Ring blocked 17 of 21 shots for Sumner.
Dexter 3, Piscataquis 2
At Dexter, Andrew Lary scored the winner with 7:31 left in regulation off a Gary Burton assist to lift Dexter over Piscataquis of Guilford.
All five goals were scored in the second half.
Devon Grant scored twice for 2-0-1 Dexter. Ryan Wilks provided an assist. Nathan Wyman turned away 18 of 29 shots.
Kyle Curtis scored off a Kyle Steeves assist for 0-2-1 Piscataquis. Yaol Kund added an unassisted goal. Corbin Shufelt made 18 saves on 28 shots.

At Old Town, Chad Paradis scored three goals and Janis Schaefer chipped in with three assists and a goal to lead the Coyotes by the Red Riots.
Luke Bartlett added an unassisted goal for the 2-1 winners who jumped out to a 5-1 halftime lead. Goalies Alex Caballero and Lee Larry combined for four saves on 10 shots.
Ian Staples notched a goal and an assist 1-2 Orono and Lee Hecker scored unassisted. Phil Holmes made five saves on 10 shots.

Bangor Chr. 2, Lee Acad. 1
At Lee, Brett Bradford scored just 30 seconds into the game as Bangor Christian defeated Lee Academy.
Bradley Wilcox gave the 2-0 Patriots a 2-0 lead 15:45 into the first half. Bradford assisted the goal. Tyler Alexander turned away seven of 12 shots.
Dean MacDonald scored 34 minutes into the second half off a Carston Kaiser assist for 0-2 Lee Academy. A.J. Harris faced 22 shots and made nine saves.
Central 7, Foxcroft Academy 1
At Corinth, Jacob Speed had three goals and two assists to lead the Central Red Devils past Foxcroft Academy.
Ryan Bean had two goals and one assist for the 1-0-2 Devils. Matt Kelley and Patrick Byers each scored a goal. Cole Haskell saved six of eight shots.
Diego de la Torre scored the lone FA goal on a penalty kick. He also made 15 saves on 24 shots for the 0-2 Ponies.

At East Millinocket, Pat Longstaff scored unassisted with 2:41 left in overtime to give Houlton the win.
Justin Haggerty added a goal and Gary Fowler an assist for the 2-5 Shiretowners. Ryan Vanbuskirk had 15 saves on 22 shots.
Aaron Hutchins scored an unassisted goal in the second half for 0-2-1 Schenck. Jerome York stopped 22 of 28 shots.

At Hermon, Abe Gladstone scored three goals to help lead Mount Desert Island past Hermon.
Ben Steel had a goal and an assist for 2-0 MDI. Carl Ferm scored a goal and Evan Hendricks provided an assist. Ben Cummings stopped two of seven shots.
Joel Adams scored a second-half goal off a Kevin Frederick assist for 0-2 Hermon. Jerimy McIntyre turned away five of 10 shots.

Mattanawcook 1, Orono 0
At Lincoln, Desiree Macalino scored the only goal of the game off an assist from Brooke Hanscom with two minutes left in the first half to give the Mattanawcook Academy Lynx the victory.
Vinni Nesin made four saves on 15 shots for the 2-1 Lynx.
Amber Saucier made four saves on 11 shots.

At Old Town, Sarah Wilcox and Lindsay St. Louis both scored two goals to lead Old Town past Hermon.

Lily Barry scored in the second half for 1-2 Hermon. Carrie Cole made 13 saves on 21 shots.
