Living in Bucksport for most of my life, I have seen many suicides at the Waldo-Hancock Bridge. It is a place where confused and depressed people, young and old, have taken their lives.
Why doesn’t the state install a high fence with an inward curve at the top? This would end all the suicides. Augusta and other bridges have them, why not the Waldo-Hancock Bridge?
