GORHAM – Bethany Bougie, Anna Pease and Whitney MacDaniel scored to help lead the University of Southern Maine field hockey team to a 3-1 victory over Saint Joseph’s College of Standish Thursday.
Caitlin Albert assisted Pease’s goal for the 7-5 Huskies. Allison Hill saved 13 of 19 shots.
Kayla Nowell scored off a Julia Ostrowski assist in the second half for 6-3 Saint Joseph’s. Meaghan Johnson turned away three of 10 shots.

At Leicester, Mass., Jennifer Richter, Julie Waters and Amber Murphy all scored unassisted goals as the Beavers triumphed.
Mickell Barnes had one save on six shots for 4-4 UM-Farmington.
Shannon Tibbetts and Alena Phongsa combined for 10 saves on 26 shots for 3-9 Becker.
