LIMESTONE – Kris Huff of Orrington had too much car for the rest of the field Sunday as he won the season-ending, 35-lap feature in the Sitel Sportsman Series at Spud Speedway.
Nick Kinney, a 16-year-old from Danforth who does not yet have his driver’s license, maneuvered around Doug Sinclair of Hermon to finish second in the race. Sinclair was third, followed by Jeff Willette of Presque Isle and Milo Haney of Connor.

At Winterport Dragway on Sunday, Wayne Chadwick of China outsprinted Jerry Hatch of Lubec to win the season finale in the Gamblers Race.
Don Joy of Machias reached the semifinals in that division.
