BANGOR – The First United Methodist Church opened a Warming Center on Nov. 13, which will be operating throughout the winter season. The Warming Center is open 3:30-7 p.m. every Thursday (including Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year’s) and is free to Bangor residents.

A soup dinner is served every week, and today the soup will be replaced with a full meal. Activities such as puzzles, cards and board games are offered as well as a quiet place for students to complete homework assignments.
