EASTPORT – The Eastport area will celebrate the New Year with the fourth annual Sardine and Maple Leaf Drop from the Tides Institute and Museum of Art building located at Bank Square.

The “Sardine” will be lowered at midnight Eastern time, while the “Maple Leaf” will be lowered at 11 p.m. Eastern or midnight Atlantic time. Eastport is located just west of the Atlantic time zone.
