BREWER – The city of Brewer and Aubuchon Hardware have teamed to offer the second annual Home Holiday Lighting & Decorating Contest.

The contest will feature prizes in various categories, including: Overall House Display and Best Entry Way/Picture Window Display. First, second, and third place gift certificates will be presented by Aubuchon Hardware in the Total House Display category, and for first and second place in the Best Entryway/Window Display.

All participants must agree to allow photos of their home/display to be published and to display a winning lawn sign. All entries must be preregistered, and forms and rules are available at the Brewer Parks and Recreation Department, City Clerk’s Office, and the Brewer Aubuchon hardware store. All registered participants will also receive a 5 percent discount on decorating supplies from Aubuchon Hardware.

The deadline for entry is 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 8. Judging will take place that evening. Winners will be announced on Dec. 10 at the Brewer Hometown Band Holiday Concert.
