ORONO – The Friends of Maine Hockey will host their annual “Skate with the Bears” on Sunday from 2-4 p.m. at Alfond Arena.

This is a great opportunity for fans of all ages to meet members of the University of Maine men’s and women’s hockey teams. Players will be available to sign autographs and pose for photos.

For fans in southern Maine, the men’s hockey team will host a Skate with the Bears at Portland’s Cumberland County Civic Center on Jan. 1 from 4:30-5:30 p.m.

Both events are free and open to the public.
