FORT KENT — The annual Fort Kent area blood drive will be held 1-6 p.m. today at the Physical Education Building at the University of Maine at Fort Kent.

The sponsor of the drive is the Student Nurses Organization of UMFK and the goal is 80 donations. The American Red Cross is conducting the drive and area residents are asked to take part. It takes 300 donors daily to meet the needs of all Maine hospitals.
