ANN WIERSMA has joined Community Health and Counseling Services in Bangor as a resource development manager. Wiersma will oversee fund development and fund-raising events. She brings over 12 years of experience to this position, including six years with the United Way of Eastern Maine.

JOEY BARD has been appointed director of facilities management at Northern Maine Medical Center in Fort Kent. Bard will be responsible for all maintenance and engineering of the physical plant and grounds at the hospital and the Madawaska Outpatient Center and also will serve as the safety officer.

ANDY NADEAU has been appointed commercial loan officer at the Katahdin Federal Credit Union in Millinocket. Nadeau will administer the business loan program. He has worked in commercial lending for the past four years and is a graduate of Husson College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration.

LYNNE PARKER has joined Acadia Insurance as a loss control representative. Parker, who has seven years of experience in the safety field, will be working out of the Bangor office.

JOAN WRIGHT has been promoted to office director at the Presque Isle Outpatient Office of the Aroostook Mental Health Care Center. Wright first joined the staff in 1984 as a substance abuse counselor. She is a licensed clinical social worker and licensed alcohol and drug counselor.

THOMAS FRAWLEY has been named convenience store division manager for Irving Oil Corp. Prior to joining Irving at its Bangor office, Frawley was vice president of R.L. Vallee Inc. in St. Albans, Vt. He is a graduate of Hartford State Technical College with a degree in computer science.

JULIAN S. WHITE has been named senior vice president for business development at First National Bank of Bar Harbor. White, who joined the bank in 1966, most recently headed the bank’s trust department in Bar Harbor. He will be relocating to the bank’s operations in Ellsworth.

RONALD HIDU has been promoted to project manager at the environmental consulting firm, Woodard & Curran in Bangor. Hidu joined the firm in 1989 and has a bachelor of science degree in geology and civil engineering. His experience is in water and waste-water process design.
