An Alzheimer’s caregiver, who has been the subject of two award-winning documentaries, will speak Sept. 20 at Kennebec Long Term Care in Augusta.

The presentation by Glenn I. Kirkland of Bethesda, Md., is part of a daylong program recognizing National Adult Day Care Week.

The film “Living With Grace,” which shows Kirkland and his wife coping at home with the early stages of her illness, will be featured during the morning session. Mrs. Kirkland died last May.
