OLD TOWN — The Old Town and Orono police departments have scheduled a bike auction at 9 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 15, at the Old Town Municipal Park.

Orono Police Chief Dan Lowe said that more then 100 bikes would be auctioned off. The bikes have been recovered by Old Town and Orono police departments and have not been claimed, Lowe said.

All proceeds from the auction will benefit the departments’ drug abuse program.
