BELFAST – Darren Stover fashioned a three-hitter to lead Bangor to a 7-1 victory over Waldo County in American Legion baseball action Monday.

T.J. True blasted a homer in the sixth and scored two runs, while Tommy Waterman hit a pair of doubles and a single, earning an RBI for the winners.

Stover aided his own cause with a double, single and RBI. Mark Alaimo chalked up a double and a single, scoring two, and Nate Waring came up with a pair of singles.

Ryan Mayhew scored Waldo’s only run in the bottom of the seventh with a home run.
