ORLANDO – The Presque Isle All-Stars beat the Las Vegas Stars 69-63 in the American Amateur Union Boys 14-and-under tournament Wednesday.

Caribou’s James Sam led Presque Isle with 25 points, Brandon McCarthy added 13 points and Joel Griffeth chipped in 12 points.

In the Wednesday night matchup, the All-Stars lost to the Oklahoma Slammers 60-41. Brandon had 11 points and Nick Casavant added eight points for Presque Isle.
