An Orrington woman reported to Bangor police Saturday night that a man had thrown a rock at her vehicle while she was driving by the B and D Store on Main Street.
The rock smashed the vehicle’s rear passenger window. The woman described the man to police as about 20 years old and heavyset.
According to police reports, a witness to the incident said the man attended night classes at Bangor High School.
A Bangor man reported to police Sunday morning that an acquaintance had struck him in the left eye and the chest.
Jeffrey Bernier, 20, of 172 Palm St., Bangor, said the incident occurred after he told a Brewer acquaintance that could not pay the money he owed him.
Police reports said Bernier had a cut to the inside of his left eye. Authorities had not located the assailant.
Among those arrested by Bangor police and charged with driving while under the influence of intoxicating liquor were Sharon Bickford, 25, of Gonic, N.H.; Gloria Grunenfeler, 36, of 168 Moosehead Blvd., Bangor; and Jeffrey Geaghan, 20, of 17 Pleasant View Ave., Bangor.
