PORTLAND — WCSH-TV in Portland and WLBZ-TV in Bangor are producing two-minute programs featuring the positions of the candidates on major issues. The time is being offered to all legally qualified candidates for governor, U.S. House of Representatives and U.S. Senate.

In each program the candidates for one of the offices will answer the same question. The stations plan to produce at least 16 of the programs and schedule them throughout the broadcast day from Oct. 7 until Election Day.
