Supposedly, the city of Brewer has settled its case with Kenny Rankin for $50,000. Was the city guilty of discrimination, and if so, who was responsible?

Mayor Janet Cobb stated she was thrilled that an agreement had been reached between the two parties and the city has to move past this.

Does this mean because this case has been settled out of court that this is over?

Does this mean the city can move forward even when it has been alleged that we have a racist on the City Council, and we have a manager who is a liar?

Have the city lawyers and other council members been less than honest about this ordeal?

The people of Brewer deserves an explanation, much more so than what has been revealed.

Let’s get the whole truth out and then the city can go about its business without having this disgusting situation hanging over its head. Richard Foss Orrington
