BOSTON – The Boston Red Sox announced Monday that Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen will throw out the ceremonial first pitch at Fenway Park on Friday, April 10. The game is Boston’s home opener.

Cohen will be joined at the mound by his wife, Janet Langhart-Cohen, and children from the Tobin School and Action Boston Community Development.

The national anthem will be performed by Lynn Saberhagen, wife of Red Sox starting pitcher Brett Saberhagen.
