VAN BUREN – Back-to-back errors with two outs in the top of the seventh allowed the tying and go-ahead runs to reach base, then Andy Soucy knocked a two-run double as Wisdom of St. Agatha pulled out a 4-3 baseball victory Monday over Van Buren.
Joey Soucy singled twice and drove in one for the Pioneers of St. Agatha. Eric Soucy scattered 10 hits and seven walks while striking out six.
Hank Sirois went 3-for-4 with two singles and a double for Van Buren. Eric Ayotte hit a three-run homer in the sixth.

Hampden and Caribou split
At Caribou, Caribou split a doubleheader with Hampden Academy, winning the second game 14-4 after dropping the first game 13-3.
In the first game, Jason Littlefield singled twice and doubled (1 RBI) for Hampden. Ben Preston added a single, triple and two RBIs. Jarrod Tyler and Adam Waite combined on a four-hitter.
Aaron Wyman, Chuck Steck and Alan Steck each doubled for Caribou.
In the second game, Wyman went 4-for-4 with two singles, a double and a three-run homer to lead Caribou. Matt Bouchard singled twice and doubled and Chuck Steck added two doubles and two RBIs. Dan Umphrey chipped in with a single, double and an RBI.
Nate Drummond singled twice and Ben Preston hit an RBI double for Hampden.

Hampden sweeps Caribou
At Caribou, the Hampden Academy Broncos swept Caribou by the scores of 12-0 in Game 1 and 19-13 in Game 2.
In the first game, Jessie Poulin limited Caribou to two hits over five innings. Julie Sjogren had three singles and an RBI and Kyla Stearns singled twice for the Broncos. Katie Jackson added two singles and an RBI.
Billie Jo Martin and Laura Sampadian singled for Caribou.
In the second game, Poulin homered and singled three times while driving in four runs for Hampden.
