CARIBOU – Limestone’s Phil Adams passed Dana York of Fort Fairfield on turn three of the final lap of the Big A Bomber race to take the win Sunday afternoon at Spud Speedway.
York led for the first 49 laps of the race before finising second to Adams. Jesse Michaud of Caribou finished third.

Harrison wins at Beech Ridge
At Scarborough, Robbie Harrison of Scarborough endured several cautions and won from the pole of the NASCAR Winston Racing series feature at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway on Saturday.
Harrison edged out Scarborough’s Steve Howard and Bobby Babb of Windham for his first win of the season. Danny Bubar of Windham and Hollis’ Billy Thompson rounded out the top five in the 35-lap event.

Mayberry wins main event
At Oxford, Tommy Mayberry of Naples took the checkered flag in the 35-lap Pro Stock main event on Saturday night at Oxford Plains Speedway.
Mayberry led from the start as he held off Jerry Babb of Windham and Bub Bilodeau of Standish. Brunswick rookie Chris Staples finished fourth and Unity’s Stan Meserve placed fifth.

Friend gets win at Unity
At Unity, Adam Friend of Detroit picked up his first win of the season on Saturday in the Big A Auto Parts 100-lap Pro Stock event on Saturday at Unity Raceway.
Friend, who started on the pole, held off past champions Steve Nelson of Unity and Russ Griffin of Jackman for the win.

Carmel man places at AMA event
At Loudon, N.H., Craig Babcock of Carmel placed 29th at the Pro Honda Oils 600 Supersport on the American Motocross Association MBNA Superbike Tour. The event was held at New Hampshire International Speedway from June 19-21. Doug Chandler of Salinas, Calif. won the event.
