ORONO — Adult Community Education at Orono High School has announced courses for the fall ’98 season, most of which will begin Sept. 14.
Anyone interested in the diploma program should contact the office so that schedules may be arranged. To register for courses, contact the Adult Education Office at Orono High School, Room 103, or mail registration to Orono Adult & Community Education, 14 Goodridge Dr., Orono, ME 04473 or call 866-4119.
The following courses are offered:
English as a second language, beginners and intermediate/advanced;
GED prep classes;
Diploma courses: algebra I, biology, chemistry, English, U.S. history;
Vocational courses: career counseling, sign language I, woodworking;
Computer course: Windows 95, Microsoft Office Professional 97;
Several personal enrichment courses.
