ELLSWORTH – Courtney Bunker and Graham Macbeth each scored two goals to lead Ellsworth to a 6-1 schoolboy soccer win over Bucksport Thursday.
Nick Noddin added a goal and two assists for the 5-3 Eagles. Cooper Friend had a goal and Aaron Archer had two assists. Joseph Richards turned away three of six shots.
Travis Hutchinson scored off an assist from John Kauffman and Craig Dugas made 14 saves on 35 shots for 0-8 Bucksport.
Foxcroft Academy 2, Hermon 0
At Dover-Foxcroft, Andy Lizzotte and Justin Clawson each scored as Foxcroft earned the win.
Clawson assisted on the Lizzotte goal and goalie Mike Grant assisted on Clawson’s goal for 3-3-2 Foxcroft.
Jeff Whitehouse was in the net for 4-4 Hermon.

At Howland, Eric Ballash scored three goals and Mike Grindle rejected five of 13 shots to pace Penquis’ victory.
Ben Knapp had a goal and an assist for the winners with Jeremy Allen and Travis Ellis scoring the other goals.
Travis Cloukey scored off a Nick Fowler pass for PVHS and goalie Ted Kajkowski rejected 10 of 18 shots.
2nd, 3rd Mount View 0, Wiscasset 0 (2OT)
At Thorndike, Mount View senior goalie Jake Von Oesen became the school’s all-time saves leader as he rejected 15 of 23 shots to raise his career total to 305 over his three years as a starter.
Mount View is now 1-4-3.
Chris Wicks stopped 13 of 21 shots for 1-5-1 Wiscasset.

At East Sullivan, Andrew Joseph’s goal off a Keegan Drinket assist with four minutes left in the game gave the Mount Desert Island Trojans the winning edge.
Chris Slack scored unassisted for 6-2 MDI and goalie Mike Garrity made 15 Brian Duke scored unassisted for 5-3 Sumner and goalie Ben Huber made six saves on 10 shots.

At Old Town, George Stevens Academy remained unbeaten behind John Lewandowski’s goal and assist.
Rafael Geieregger, Matt Jackson and Josh Hatch scored one goal apiece for the 8-0 Eagles of Blue Hill. Scott Marcinkus provided an assist.
Andrew O’Neil made eight saves on nine shots.
David May had an unassisted goal for 0-8 Old Town behind Tim Dolley, who came up with 15 saves on 19 shots.

Jessie Craft turned away six of 11 shots for 0-5 Greenville.

At Searsport, Lasha Keller and Brandi Nickerson each scored two goals to lead Searsport.
Melissa Wilson and Laura Holweger each scored for the 7-1 Vikings. Jessie Barton and Lura Carroll turned away all four shots they faced.
Lynsay Brewer made 12 saves on 23 shots for 0-8 Deer Isle-Stonington.

At Wiscasset, Nina Graham netted two goals as Mount View improved to 7-1 on the season.

Caitlin Toomey scored off a Blair Nelson assist and Kristine Saunders stopped 16 of 20 shots for 3-4 Rockland.

At Union Street Field in Bangor, Sharon Ireland scored on a Heather Hessert assist 3 1/2 minutes into the game, providing the lone goal of the afternoon.
Ashley Ireland preserved the shutout for the Broncos with 10 saves on 13 shots.
Stephanie Philbrick registered 19 saves on 24 shots for the 2-4 Crusaders.
