JONESPORT – Nate Alley scored two goals and Ira Kelly tallied two assists as the Jonesport-Beals Royals downed Narraguagus 4-1 in schoolboy soccer action Tuesday.
Josh Knowlton and Jason Beal also had goals for 9-3-1 Jonesport-Beals, and Eric Blackwood had an assist. Mike Lewark made 23 saves on 26 shots.
Silas Rossi fired in an unassisted second-half goal for 10-2 Narraguagus. Bruce Hall and Seth Bernier combined for 15 saves on 22 shots.
Van Buren 2, Fort Kent 0
At Van Buren, Mike Sirois scored two goals to help the Crusaders improve to 9-5.
Sirois had a goal in each half for Van Buren. Nate Marquis made 18 saves on 19 shots.
Ben Raymond had 17 saves on 25 shots for 7-6 Fort Kent.
Hodgdon 3, Katahdin 2
At Hodgdon, David Gray’s second goal was the game-winner for the Hawks, coming off an Elon Jepson pass with 4:29 left in the contest.
Gray’s first goal came off a Jeremy Knowles feed for 9-2-2 Hodgdon. Jepson scored on a first-half penalty kick. Matt Allen made eight saves on 12 shots.
Nick Collins and Dustin Morgan each had unassisted goals for 6-8 Katahdin of Sherman Station. Chris Jilek made 10 saves on 13 shots.
Machias 3, Washington Acad. 1
At Machias, Seth Kilton scored two goals – both on assists from Peter Whitney – and led the Machias Bulldogs to a win.
Micah Hall scored the other goal unassisted for the 8-3-2 ‘Dogs. In goal, Kevin Loughlin made three saves on four shots.
Vinny Emery scored on an Adam Griffin assist for the 5-6-1 Raiders of East Machias. Nick Reynolds saved five of 11 shots.

At Calais, Noah Buehner scored from the 18-yard line with 4:59 left in the game, giving the Hornets their first win.
Ryan McGonnigal tied the game in the second off a Eric Legris feed for 1-11-1 Lubec. John Moores made 21 saves on 24 shots.
Adam McPherson had a first-half goal off a Ross Pike assist for 1-11-1 Calais. Dustin Page made six saves on nine shots.

Van Buren 0, Fort Kent 0 (2OT)
At Van Buren, the Fort Kent Warriors surprised the Crusaders as the teams battled to a scoreless tie.
Kasey Violette made three saves on six shots for 11-1-2 Van Buren.
Danielle Harvey had seven saves on 11 shots for 5-6-2 Fort Kent.
Shead 4, East Grand 1
At Danforth, Judy Suddy had two unassisted goals to lead the Tigers of Eastport past the Vikings.
Rebecca Lingley and Sarah Ricker each had goals for 2-6 Shead, and Jamie Green had an assist. Natalie Smith made two saves on three shots.
Tracy Brackett scored off a Tara Cropley assist in the first half for 1-8 East Grand. Lindsay Faulkner made five saves on 10 shots.
Katahdin 3, Hodgdon 0
At Hodgdon, Gwen Pocock had two scores and Laura Ordway registered the shutout for the Cougars of Sherman Station.
Melissa Landry had a goal off an Ashley Robinson pass for 10-3-1 Katahdin. Morgan Anderson also had an assist. Ordway made 13 saves on 17 shots.
Danielle Fitzpatrick had 18 saves on 23 shots for 8-2-3 Hodgdon.

At East Sullivan, Tovan Willey fired in five goals for the Tigers, which included three goals in 10 minutes in the first half.
Lizzie Brunton had two second-half goals for 4-9-1 Sumner, and Sam Scott tallied two assists. Stacie Warren, Amber Lane, and Meghan Philio combined for three saves on three shots.
Jen Allen stopped 19 of 26 shots for 1-13 Central.
Field hockey
Nokomis 7, Brewer 0
At Newport, Nicole Palmer and Miranda Johndro each netted two goals as the Warriors tallied four second-half scores.
Liz Mendell scored a goal and had two assists for 8-4-1 Nokomis. Kathleen Coons and Laura Pelkey also scored. Veronica Gilbert made one save on three shots.
Jessica Rowles made 16 saves on 35 shots for 1-13 Brewer.

At Guilford, Mandy Gray’s score off a Miranda Durant feed 20 minutes into the first half was the game-winner for the Pirates.

Kendall Tracewski scored an unassisted goal for the 4-8-1 Indians. Old Town goalie Kristin Osborne stopped 15 of the 18 shots she faced.
