BANGOR – Ruby Tuesday, a national bar and grill restaurant chain, plans to open a new store at the Bangor Mall later this month, according to Bruce Soper, general manager of the mall, said Thursday that the restaurant plans to open its 6,040-square-foot store Wednesday, Jan. 17 – just two days after construction is to be completed. The restaurant is being constructed as an addition to the Bangor Mall near the J.C. Penney mall entrance. Soper said the restaurant will have one entrance from inside the mall and a second independent entrance on an exterior wall, because the eatery includes a bar and will be open much later than other stores within the mall.
The Bangor site will be the second Ruby Tuesday in Maine. The other restaurant is located at the Aroostook Centre Mall in Presque Isle.
