DOVER-FOXCROFT – Matt Carey’s jump shot in overtime and foul shots by Lincoln Robinson and Danny White Monday night gave Foxcroft Academy a 54-50 schoolboy basketball win over Hermon.
The Ponies had beaten the Hawks 55-53 on Jan. 2 in Hermon.
Josh Withee’s two 3-pointers and four points by White rallied the Ponies into a 50-47 lead in regulation before Wayne Shaw’s 3-pointer forced overtime for Hermon.
E.J. Imbert’s 13 points and nine rebounds led Foxcroft. Carey finished with 12, White scored 11 and Ty Kennedy had 10.
Shaw’s game-high 26 points and Adam Porter’s nine led Hermon.
