EAST SULLIVAN – Jeff Crowley scored three of Sumner’s seven points in the third overtime period, lifting the Tigers to an 84-83 victory over top-seeded Central of East Corinth in a Class C clash Monday night.
Crowley finished with 18 points and eight rebounds. Josh Sargent scored 21 points, including a 3-pointer at the buzzer to send the game to the third overtime period, and pulled down nine rebounds. Travis Bickford and James Freeman each contributed 15 points.
Ryan Rivera poured in 28 points, including six 3-pointers, for the Red Devils. John King scored 17 and Justin Ladd chipped in with 10.
